NOTES April Competition: Charlie Swisko brought a Kolsch which came in third in the non-theme competition. However, points were not awarded because he also brought in a Pilsner which placed second in the non-theme competition. Competitors can only receive points for a single entry receiving the highest point total in that month’s competition.   

July Competition: There were no entries into the club’s competition for this month.

August Competition: Jason Black brought a Dubbel which came in third in the non-theme competition. However, points were not awarded because he also brought in a Barleywine which placed second in the non-theme competition. Competitors can only receive points for a single entry receiving the highest point total in that month’s competition. Ted Wojtysiak’s Hefeweizen received third place in the non-theme competition.

September Competition: Dave Humes brought a Baltic Porter which placed first for the non-theme competition. However, this same Baltic Porter placed first in the May meeting. Competitors can only submit a beer into the competition once in a single calendar year.

November Competition: Cara Kramer and Dave Rancourt brought an IPA which came in third in the non-theme competition. However, points were not awarded because he also brought in a Pumpkin Ale which placed second in the non-theme competition. Competitors can only receive points for a single entry receiving the highest point total in that month’s competition.

December Competition: Mike Sherman brought an Bourbon Barrel Stout which came in second in the non-theme competition. However, points were not awarded because he also brought in a Mead which placed third in the theme competition. Competitors can only receive points for a single entry receiving the highest point total in that month’s competition.
