The annual CSI Holiday Party and Brewers of the Year celebration will take place on Saturday, January 27th from 3pm – 7pm at DuClaw Brewing Company in Rosedale, Maryland.
DuClaw has allowed us to use their taphouse to host the festivities. We will have open taps and a tour of the brewery. We have full access to the taproom and all of the games.
Since this is a potluck party, we ask that club members bring an appetizer, main course, side dish, or dessert item with them, as well as lots of homebrew. A potluck list has been set up as part of your RSVP so you can let everyone know what you are bringing so we can avoid duplicate items.
Once again we are taking a collection of non-perishable food for the Maryland Food Bank. A lot of times supplies at food pantries are extremely depleted after the holidays and CSI likes to do their part to give back to the community. Although this is a free event to attend, we ask that you bring some non-perishable items to donate on behalf of the club.
We will also be handing out awards for our “Brewer of the Year” and runners up at this party.
As always, friends, and family members of club members are welcome to attend. Since this is a working brewery, all we ask is that you be mindful of who you bring along. There will be absolutely no consumption of alcohol by those under 21 at this event. This hasn’t been a problem in the past and we don’t expect it to be a problem this year. Hopefully you can all make it to this great event.
Also, if you would like to go and have not yet received an email from Punchbowl to the event, please Email the Guild Representative, Mike Sherman, as he’s the lead on this party. He will send you the invite to add to the potluck list.
